Outlining global SD policy framework

The rail industry’s SRP does not operate in isolation. Addressing sustainable development for rail requires recognition of the umbrella of strategic global and UK policy under which the industry operates such as the Kyoto Protocol, the Stern Review on the economics of climate change, output from G8 summits, the Barker review and others.
